Second suspect charged in connection of shooting death of man in PRP

Two weeks after a man in connection with the death of Tyler Lanham was arrested, police say another suspect has been charged.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A second man has been charged in connection to a murder last October.

Kevon James is being accused of the robbery and murder of 22-year-old Tyler Lanham.

Police said James and 20-year-old Edtavion Triplett went to Lanham’s Brookview Drive home in Pleasure Ridge Park on Oct. 26, 2020 with the intent to steal.

Lanham attempted to intervene and that’s when police believe the suspect shot Lanham multiple times. He died hours later.

Triplett was arrested on July 16.

He’s also facing both murder and robbery charges. His bond has been set at $250,000.
