Indiana reports additional 15K fully vaccinated, 11 deaths

ISDH said now has 1,933,367 fully vaccinated individuals. As of today, a total of 4,229,104 shots have been administered in Indiana.

Sunday, May 2

The Indiana State Department of Health on Sunday reported 15,175 more people have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19. The state now has 1,933,367 fully vaccinated individuals. To date, the state has administered 4,297,368 total vaccine shots that include single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccinations, or either the first or second doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.

The state reported 11 additional deaths from COVID-19 on Sunday. Those deaths occurred between April 9 and Saturday.

Saturday, May 1

The Indiana State Department of Health released its latest update on COVID-19 vaccinations Saturday morning. An additional 33,779 Hoosiers have been fully vaccinated with either the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine or both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines in the past 24 hours. ISDH reports 1,918,193 total individuals have been fully vaccinated in the state.        

ISDH also announced that 1,191 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 721,577 the total number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus.                          

To date, 12,926 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of five from Friday. Another 412 probable deaths have been reported in patients who died with COVID-19 symptoms but with no positive test on record.    

A total of 3,387,503 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,381,943 on Friday. A total of 9,819,124 tests, including repeat tests the same patients, have been reported to ISDH since Feb. 26, 2020.

Friday, April 30

The Indiana State Department of Health on Friday reported eight additional deaths from COVID-19. Those deaths occurred March 1 and Thursday. To date, 12,921 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, with another 411 probable deaths reported in patients who died with COVID-19 symptoms but had no positive test on record.     

A total of 3,381,943 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from Thursday's count of 3,376,666. A total of 9,787,443 tests, including repeat tests for the same person, have been reported to ISDH since the beginning of the pandemic.

Health officials also reported 43,800 people have been fully vaccinated for the virus. As of today, a total of 4,229,104 shots have been administered in Indiana. This includes 2,344,638 first doses and 1,884,466 individuals who are fully vaccinated with either two doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or a single Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Thursday, April 29

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 41,920 more people have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19, bringing the state's total to 1,840,696 people who have received the single shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine or both doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. Breaking down today's total, the state dashboard shows 144,197 people have been given the Johnson & Johnson shot, with 1,696,499 receiving both Pfizer or Moderna shots.                          

With eleven additional deaths reported Thursday, Indiana has now lost 12,913 people to the virus.                      

A total of 3,376,666 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,371,140 on Wednesday. A total of 9,749,814 tests, including repeat tests for the same patients, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.

Wednesday, April 28

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,272 new cases of COVID-19 in the state on Wednesday, along with 19 additional deaths from the virus. The deaths reported Wednesday occurred between Jan. 1 and Tuesday. Total deaths in the state are now 12,902.                         

ISDH reported 33,641 additional people are fully vaccinated as of Wednesday morning, bringing the state's total up to 1,798,858 who have received either both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Tuesday, April 27

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 867 new cases of COVID-19 in the state on Tuesday, along with 13 additional deaths from the virus. The deaths reported Tuesday occurred between April 23 and Monday. Total deaths in the state are now 12,883.

ISDH reported 25,276 additional people are fully vaccinated as of Tuesday morning, bringing the state's total up to 1,765,242 who have received either both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Monday, April 26

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 702 new cases of COVID-19 and five additional deaths Monday, bringing the statewide total to 715,468 cases and 12,870 deaths.

Indiana's 7-day positivity rate for all tests is at 4.8%, while the rate for unique individuals is at 12.6%. A total of 1,739,982 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated.

As of Sunday, April 25, the Indiana State Department of Health reported the state had reached a benchmark of more than 4 million COVID-19 vaccination shots administered. This includes first or second shots of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines as well as single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
