LOUISVILLE, Ky. — LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – An investigation is underway following a fatal shooting in the Hazelwood neighborhood.
Metro Police officers responded to the 4000 block of Woodruff Avenue around 11:30 p.m. after a man in his 40’s suffered a gunshot wound.
Police said at the time the man was “initially alert and conscious” and was taken to UofL Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
The victim has not been identified and police do not have any suspects.
