LMPD: 1 critical, another injured in Lafayette Drive shooting

Police said the shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on Monday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two people have been injured following a shooting in Louisville’s Jacobs neighborhood.

Police said officers responded to the 1700 block of Lafayette Drive around 8:45 p.m. Monday where they located a man and woman that had been shot.

They were transported to UofL Hospital with the man being listed in critical condition and the woman suffering non-life threatening injuries.

Police have no suspects currently.
