LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left a 19-year-old dead and another person critically injured in Elizabethtown.
Elizabethtown Police said they responded to the crash on South Mulberry Street near Magnet Drive around 3:30 p.m. Monday.
In their preliminary investigation, police said 19-year-old Kaleb Fogle was driving westbound on US 62 when he crossed into eastbound traffic, striking a Toyota pickup and a GMC SUV.
When Fogle's vehicle struck the Toyota pickup, it caused the pickup to overturn and strike a Chevrolet pickup that was also headed east.
Fogle was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the GMC SUV was airlifted to UofL Hospital in Louisville with critical injuries.
The others inside the Toyota and Chevrolet were not injured.
