Kentucky Kingdom reopens with changes amid COVID-19

If you plan on attending the amusement park, get ready for lots of social distancing and wearing masks.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Kentucky Kingdom, a summer hot spot for family fun has reopened with changes.

Anyone attending the amusement park, including staff, will be required to have their temperature checked. Attendees will also be asked to wear a mask.

"It's a lot of energy, lots of friendly faces back today. Our team members are ready to go – we are so excited – couldn’t be happier to finally be opening our gates."

The park is also limiting attendance to 16,858 guests. The number comes from doing the math of how large the park is and how many people can fit with families being 6-feet apart.
