LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One person is dead after a car crash on Dixie Highway near Katherine Station Rd. on Friday evening.
According to police, the driver was headed south on Dixie Highway when the car left the road for an unknown reason. The car struck a tree and rotated into a ditch, police said.
The driver was the only person in the car when it crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Louisville Metro Police are investigating the crash.
