Saharan Dust timeline for Kentuckiana

Here's a day-by-day look at the flow of the Saharan Dust.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Saharan cloud of dust (Saharan Air Layer) has arrived to the Caribbean and is moving into the Gulf of Mexico.   There have been many pictures and videos of dusty skies posted on twitter from various Caribbean nations. 

The dust will help suppress tropical storm development, produce orange/reddish sunsets, and possibly impact those will dust allergies or sensitive breathing issues.
