3 El Nopal employees test positive for COVID-19 at its Westport Road location, health officials say

Officials with the Department of Public Health and Wellness are asking those who visited the location between June 5 through June 14 may have been exposed.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three employees at El Nopal have tested positive for COVID-19, according to Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness.

Health officials confirmed in a news release the employees worked at the location at 9451 Westport Road.

Those who may have visited the restaurant from June 5 through June 14 may have been exposed to the virus.

Officials are advising patrons to get tested as well as monitor themselves for COVID-19 and symptoms for 14 days after eating there.
