2 shot, injured following shooting in Russell neighborhood

Two victims have been hospitalized following a shooting in the 2500 block of Magazine Street Tuesday evening.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Authorities are looking for suspects after two people were shot and injured in the Russell neighborhood.

Metro Police say they first received reports of a shooting in the 2500 block of Magazine Street around 8 p.m. Tuesday.

First Division officers located a man believed to be in his 20’s suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to UofL Hospital where he’s listed in critical condition.

Police say they also located a second man from that shooting in the 2200 block of Madison Avenue. That victim was also taken to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police do not have any suspects.
