LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A road closure in downtown Louisville means you may have to rework your commute starting on Monday.
Beginning at 6 a.m. on June 15, a section of East Broadway will be closed between Campbell and Barret.
It's part of a $1.4 million project to replace the bridge over the South Fork of Beargrass Creek. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the nearly 100-year-old bridge carries more than 19,000 cars every day.
This section of road is expected to be closed for three months.
