2:15 p.m.
Mayor Fischer holds press conference via FB live. Fischer gave more details concerning the curfew and asks Louisvillians to remain in their homes.
"Please stay home, and stay safe. That is your biggest contribution you can do right now," Fischer said.
LMPD Lt. Col. LaVita Chavous confirmed that the victims shot during the Thursday were in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Chavous also confirmed that there are no suspects at this time.
1:30 p.m.
Mayor Fischer provides details on the dusk-to-dawn curfew. The curfew starts at 9 p.m. Saturday and is in effect until 6:30 a.m. Sunday. The times will remain the same on Sunday night. The curfew is in effect for entire Jefferson County area.
Everyone is instructed to remain in their homes and out of common areas during those hours. If you go out you can be cited for a curfew violation and asked to return to your home.
1:00 p.m.
Approximately 350 National Guard soldiers will be sent to Louisville this afternoon.
9:00 a.m.
Governor Andy Beshear announced Saturday morning that he is calling up the National Guard to help keep peace in Louisville.
This comes in response to a second night of protests in downtown Louisville which saw the destruction of property throughout downtown and looting of stores.
Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer also announced a dusk-to-dawn curfew for the city of Louisville.
