Teen injured after shooting in Algonquin neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A teenager was sent to the hospital after a shooting in the Algonquin Neighborhood.

On May 14 just before 6 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at South 23rd Street, near Algonquin Parkway.

 A release from LMPD said the boy was shot at least once but was alert and conscious before going to the hospital.
