Police: Child in critical condition, man injured after shooting; officers locate victims in Shepherdsville

Metro Police say they responded to a call from Bullitt County EMS regarding a female child and a man in his 30’s found shot around 8:15 p.m. Saturday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man and child were found shot in Shepherdsville.

According to Shepherdsville Police, they responded to a Wendy’s location in the 100 block of Keystone Crossroads after a report of multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers located the man and child and police escort route was set up along I-65 to transport the victims to Norton Children’s Hospital and UofL Hospital.

Police say they set up a route along I-65 for Bullitt County EMS to transport the victims to Norton Children’s Hospital and UofL Hospital.

Authorities determined the victims were shot in Louisville and then transported to Shepherdsville.

According to police, the child is in critical condition and the male victim is in serious but stable condition.

Police are trying to determine where the shooting exactly happened in Louisville.

There are no suspects.
