LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As the district continues to serve breakfast and lunch to students amid the coronavirus shutdown, JCPS said they have received enough paper bags for the emergency food program.
The emergency food program put out a request for strong, large, thick paper bags with handles to pack up breakfasts and lunches at their food distribution sites. On Tuesday, JCPS served a total of 14,900 meals – their biggest day yet.
A JCPS spokesperson thanked the community, and said they have received enough and do not need more at this time.
