LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Checkout this week’s Pick6 of events and things to do:
- How about taking in a film? It's the Louisville Jewish Film Festival. It runs from February 8th through March 3rd. They will screen films throughout the city. For a schedule go to www.JewishLouisville.org.
- On Saturday, if you have a passion for reading. It's the Fifth Annual African American Read-In at the Newburg Library at 4800 Exeter Ave. The event starts at 1:30 pm. It’s expected to last about two hours.
- St. Michael is hosting a spaghetti dinner from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. It’s $10.00 for adults. The event will be located at St. Michael Life Center in Greenville, Indiana.
- CenterStage presents HAIR. You can see the musical now through February 22nd at the Jewish Community Center. Tickets for their weekend shows will cost you $25.00 dollars.
- On Saturday, The Muhammad Ali Center presents apart of Black History Month, Ali & Cavett: The Tale of the Tapes Film Screening, Dick Cavett appearance and a Q&A session. The event begins at 2:00pm. Tickets are $15.00 per person for film screening; or $30.00 per person for the screening and a film poster autographed by Mr. Cavett.
- Do need a little comic relief….standup comedian and country music artist Rodney Carrington will be in Louisville at the Palace on Saturday. There's only single tickets still available. Showtime is at 7:00pm.
