LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police are investigating after an elderly woman, was hit and killed near Hurstbourne Parkway.
The accident happened at a very busy intersection around 6:30 a.m. Dec. 11. South Hurstbourne was shut down from Greene Way to Biggin Hill Lane for a couple of hours as the scene was cleared.
The victim was identified as 87-year-old Mary Stallard from Louisville. Funeral arrangements are pending.
According to police, the driver will not face any charges.
