LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A 17-year-old who was driving an suv suffered non-life threatening injuries after crashing into the back of a semi on Thursday.
It happened on I-71 near Barbour Lane.
Police said the teenager was driving and rear-ended the big rig after the truck stopped in traffic.
The teen was taken to Norton Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
I-71 was closed for about three hours until crews cleaned up the wreckage.
