LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A known white nationalist leader has been released from the Louisville jail after serving time for a probation violation.
According to LMDC, Matthew Heimbach was released on Saturday after spending more than a month in jail for a domestic abuse incident.
He was also arrested in Paoli in March on battery charges after police say he assaulted his wife's stepfather.
Heimbach, head of the Traditionalist Worker Party, was one of the speakers at last summer's "Unite the Right" white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
