Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - The University of Louisville is taking the next steps in hiring a new men's basketball coach.

According to the Courier Journal, the university will sit down this weekend with Xavier head coach Chris Mack.

Mack confirmed that report to the Cincinnati Inquirer.

Many people expect him to be the next head coach of the Cards.
