Nebraska woman killed in So. Indiana crash

Indiana State Police say a Nebraska woman was killed when she lost control of her car during a rainstorm Saturday night.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Nebraska woman was killed in southern Indiana after a car crash during a rainstorm late Saturday.

Indiana State Police say 31-year-old Amanda McKnight lost control of her car while driving in a severe rainstorm on Interstate 64 in Perry County.

That’s when police say her car went off the road and flipped multiple times landing in a deep ravine.

McKnight was thrown from the vehicle and died from her injuries.

McKnight’s 11-year-old son was found in the car unharmed.
