15-year-old arrested for social media threat against GCC

The viral post in question said, "be ready for tomorrow, February 19th". The person said it's "not a threat" but a "promise" followed by a bomb emoji.

JEFFERSONVILLE, IND. (WHAS 11)--A 15-year-old has been arrested after threats were made online to the Greater Clark County and New Albany Floyd County Schools.

The New Albany Police Department says in a Facebook post that the teen is charged with felony intimidation.

The Bullitt County Sheriff's Department says it's also investigating threatening posts made against Bullitt County Public Schools.

Before the arrest was announced, Greater Clark County Schools had announced it would have more officers on campus.
