Teen suspect in Kentucky school shooting appears before judge

The suspect in the deadly Kentucky school shooting was arraigned.

BENTON, Ky. (AP) - A Kentucky teenager facing two murder charges in a school shooting appeared before a judge for a hearing on Feb. 16.

Gabriel Parker, 15, was identified as the suspect. Parker was indicted on two counts of murder and 14 counts of first-degree assault stemming from the Jan. 23 shooting at Marshall County High School.

Family of the victims were in court but did not take questions.

On Thursday, the small town of Benton--where school shooting occurred--held a vigil for the victims of the Florida school shooting that killed 17.
